Legacy

Legacy passed to generations should be beyond materialistic things accumulated.

Legacy of the culture, character and precious heritage passed to generations is as (more) important.

Legacy is built piece by piece. It’s the ground work of our roots, termed as history.

Make sure you do something that you are remembered after you’re gone.

Ethics values being on one side and standing for right and being fair and equitable is the greatest legacy one can get.

Today’s and upcoming generations can only respect and value such legacy when they are educated about it.

If our history is lost somewhere -‘than whose at fault ‘?

  1. wise words Tanvir …
“Ethics values being on one side and standing for right and being fair and equitable is the greatest legacy one can get.” really jumps out at me!

Here, in oz, the white invaders did everything possible to obliterate our First Peoples which crushed their culture … now they are clawing it back from oral history and dreamtime. As they reclaim this they are growing stronger to overcome all the bigotry they have been drowning in …

Culture is so important and I’ve visited India for years and watched it corroded by western materialism and I mourn the loss of spiritual wealth. Guess the key is to find your own balance …

  2. Make sure you do something that you are remembered after you’re gone – love this and appreciate your post! Living in our simplest way of being aligned with values and purpose is a legacy we can leave collectively for future generations.
